WestNet Rail sponsors a number of sporting, environmental and cultural events in metropolitan Perth and regional WA.
These include the Kulin Bush Races, Northam Summer Series Outdoor Concerts, Leonora Racing Club, Goldfields SES Challenge and Wyalkatchem Revegetation Project. [photo gallery]
WestNet Rail provides ongoing "in kind" support to the Hotham Valley Tourist Railway by way of free access and the Avon Descent white water event through the provision of volunteers to ensure the safety of rescue teams, competitors and support crew as they traverse rail crossings.
WestNet Rail has also provided sponsorship to the Australian Railway Historical Society for the production of a book titled "History of Passenger Rail Services in Western Australia".
